Round Ireland Update – Day 3

just past Tory doing 7knts in light SW breeze ETA in Wicklow is 15:30 on 27th June 2012 but still long way to go with the dreaded tides at Rathlin still to face and then the fickle winds of the East coast which or predicated at SW going SE 4 TO 5 .She is closely followed by Tonnerre 3 only 30 miles astern doing 7.3 KTS Tonnerre is 1st in IRC 1 and 1ST in IRC overall . She is followed by Lee Overlay only 10 miles separate these two boats .
Tonnerre and Lee Overlay have an interesting side dual with a brother on each boat Simon Johnson is bow man on Tonnere and his brother Kevin is on Lee Overlay Partners both started their sailing in Wicklow Sailing club .
